Gurudev was the chief guest at a conference titled ‘Stress Reduction Skills: Scientific Update’ organized by Department of Psychiatry, AIIMS in collaboration with Gurudev GMDA (Global Meditating Doctors Association)
The event was attended by doctors from Government and private sectors, nurses, scientists, researchers, psychologists, pharmacists, health administrators, medical students and health professionals across various disciplines from all over the country.
The Chief Guest for the conference was Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar & the Guest of Honor was Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Hon’ble Union Health Minister, Government of India. The conference was addressed by eminent personalities and renowned national and international names in healthcare including Dr. Sudhir K Khandelwal , HOD, Psychiatry and Chief NDDTC, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS); Dr. B.N Gangadhar, Prof Department of Psychiatry, NIMHANS, Bangalore; Dr. Sat Bir S. Khalsa, Harvard School of Medicine, Director of Research, Kundalini Research Institute; Dr. Kishore Chandiramani, Private Consultant Psychiatrist, Nuffield Health North Staffordshire Hospital, UK, and many others.
