“Stress and Strength” in Cambodia

March 11

Gurudev visited Cambodia after 9 years. On March 11th, He conducted an interactive program titled Stress to Strength Through Inner Peace & Creativity, organised by the Art Of Living in conjunction with the Indian Embassy, Cambodia, attended by thousands of people.

Gurudev imparted valuable insights on transforming stress into useful energy for everyday life. Highlighting the alarming statistic of someone committing stress-related suicide every 40 seconds, Gurudev pointed out that excessive work, overwhelming worries and insufficient time are primary causes of stress, leading to feelings of nervousness and inability to find relief.

He recommended a healthy lifestyle including consuming easily digestible food, adequate sleep, harnessing the power of one’s breath and regular meditation as ways to eliminate stress and to stay energetic throughout the day.

He further emphasised the non-religious nature of breathing practices that could improve the quality of breathing and energy levels of everyone irrespective of the faith they practised. 1/3rd of the world’s population including 108 Indian universities and several European countries, now incorporate yoga, breathing techniques and meditation as part of their daily routine.

March 12

Gurudev led a wisdom, music and meditation event and interacted with thousands at the “Stress and Strength” event at the Koh Pich Theater in Phnom Penh. He interacted with thousands of enthusiastic attendees that included leaders from government, business, education, embassies, monasteries, and many students.

Among the key dignitaries that attended the event, were the King Monk, Samdech Preah Aphiserei Sukonthea Mohasangreacheathipadei (Abhisirī Sugandhā Mahāsangharājādhipat), Minister Samheng Boros, and the Indian ambassador to Cambodia, Devyani Khobragade.

Taiwan

March 12-13

Gurudev arrived in Taipei, Taiwan to a warm welcome by its lovely people. His tour started with a music-filled evening of wisdom and meditation in Taipei, attended by thousands.

Thousands explored the mysteries of meditation during a meditation masterclass – Unveiling Infinity (Vignan Bhairav) at the Taipei International Convention Center.

March 14

Gurudev arrived in Taichung, Taiwan and inspired students and faculty from Tunghai University and National Chung Hsing University in Taichung, Taiwan to pay attention to the spiritual aspect of life.

The most venerable H.H. Dharma Master Hsin Tao received Gurudev in Taipei. He invited Gurudev to visit his sangha in Myanmar, Thailand, and Malaysia.

March 14

Gurudev led the audience into an immersive experience of meditation and knowledge in the Wisdom Series held at the Kerry Hotel.

Laos

March 19-21

Gurudev arrived at the World Heritage city of Luang Prabang, visited the iconic Wat Xiengthong monastery and the beautiful Kuang Si waterfalls.

Youth in large numbers joined the celebration of culture, wisdom & meditation in Vientiane, the capital city of Laos. The event was also attended by Laos’ Hon. Deputy Minister of Culture, the Hon. Indian Ambassador, and leaders from diverse fields, including Buddhist monks.

Vietnam

March 21

Thousands joined Gurudev at the Discourse, Music and Meditation event at Hanoi.

March 22

Thousands gathered for an evening of culture, wisdom, and meditation with Gurudev at the beautiful Cultural Friendship Palace. The venerable Thich Thanh Huan and the officials from the Indian Embassy also attended the event.

Hundreds gathered for a wisdom and meditation session with Gurudev at Ho Chi Minh City.
