Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar urged people to respond to the call by Prime Minister Modi for a people’s curfew and to appreciate the people working tirelessly to provide essential services despite the threat to their own well-being.
So far India has done extremely well in combating #coronavirus, but we have a lot to do. Let's respond to the call by Hon PM Shri @narendramodi for people's curfew on March 22. Let's also appreciate the people in essential services who are fighting this war for us.

He also requested those who can, to send out a strong message of humanity by considering voluntarily accepting pay cuts and reducing the economic burden of the daily-wage earners and low-income groups in their neighbourhoods who have been adversely affected by the Corona virus situation.
I call upon those who can, to take a pay cut & form endowments together to take care of daily wage workers & low income groups in your areas so that the economic burden is shared by society locally. Let's give the assurance that there is enough humanity to take care of everyone.
