Service Projects
Love in Action Is Service
For over 40 years, the Art of Living Foundation, in partnership with the International Association for Human Values (IAHV), has worked tirelessly to uplift lives around the world. From conflict resolution and disaster relief to specialized mental wellness and resilience programs for veterans and at-risk youth, the organization continues its mission to create a better, more compassionate world for all.
Mental wellness & resilience programs:
Gurudev’s vision of a violence-free, stress-free society begins with an individual’s ability to manage their own mind. Mental wellness is at the root of it all. Through tailored mental wellness and resilience programs, Gurudev provides people from all walks of life with techniques and training to relieve stress, enhance mental well-being, and build resilience. All backed by science.

Key Initiatives
Growing up has never been easy, but students today face a litany of new challenges that can make their learning environment more stressful than ever.
We breathe life into education by giving students and educators evidence-based tools to optimize their experience—reducing stress, violence and bullying, and improving focus and healthy decision-making.
With the current high-stress, fast-paced university environment, students report more depression and suicide ideation than ever before in history.
Our programs provide stress reduction and resilience training designed to help students, faculty, and staff to thrive and reach their highest potential—with a calm, clear, focused mind.
Members of the armed forces and their families make the ultimate sacrifice for their countries, and we aim to give them the ultimate care in return.
We offer our mind-body resilience program to these heroes, giving them tools to reduce chronic stress and PTSD and opening the door to a lifetime of mental wellness.
Into Education
Following Gurudev’s aspiration for universal value education, the Art of Living delivers free, comprehensive, and values-oriented education to children unreachable by standard government or private programs via the ‘Care for Children’ initiative.
Sustainability
Embracing Gurudev’s vision and channeling collective energy, volunteers globally have undertaken significant environmental endeavors, such as extensive tree planting through Mission Green Earth, innovative water management, river rejuvenation, and promoting zero-budget, chemical-free farming that’s both economically viable and ecologically responsible.
Empowerment
The Art of Living empowers women from all backgrounds by offering programs designed to cultivate inner strength, creativity, and self-assurance. These programs enable women to face the world with skill, confidence, and grace, fully prepared to tackle life’s challenges
The Art of Living’s multifaceted approach to disaster relief ensures immediate and effective support to those in need. Leveraging a global network of volunteers, the Art of Living can quickly respond to crises anywhere on the planet.
Our prison program is an internationally acclaimed initiative aimed at transforming the attitudes and behaviors of offenders. It seeks to eradicate societal violence at its core, reduce re-offending, and provide essential stress management and trauma relief for correctional staff and crime victims.
Resolution
Under the guidance and mediation of Gurudev, the Art of Living has been instrumental in resolving conflicts, bringing reconciliation, and instilling harmony in diverse communities and regions across the globe.
