On his first visit to the country, Gurudev shares his vision of a stress-free and violence-free Uganda. Gurudev interacted with the media, several prominent dignitaries and community leaders sharing his thoughts on skilling youth, empowering women, socio-economic development, holistic wellness and many other initiatives that Art of Living has pioneered towards making the world a better place.

After answering questions from the media about his visit, Gurudev interacted with the Indian High Commissioner to Uganda, H.E Mr. A. Ajay Kumar. A string of meetings followed during the day with Gurudev interacting with Ms. Kabayo M Grace (Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Duties), Rev. Canon Aaron Mwesigye (Director for Religious Affairs in the Office of the President), businessmen and groups from neighboring countries.

Gurudev addressed a huge congregation of business leaders and entrepreneurs. The event was attended by H.E. Edward Ssekandi – Former Vice President of Uganda.

Later, an MOU was signed with Uganda Prisons to facilitate Art of Living Prison Program for the inmates and staff.

The evening saw a grand “Vibrant Africa” event where thousands celebrated with wisdom, music and meditation.
