Gurudev visited New Zealand after 14 years and shared how New Zealand had progressed while honoring its indigenous roots and keeping their ancient traditions alive, something all other societies can learn from.

Speaking at Auckland’s Aotea Centre, he shared a vision to see New Zealand become the world’s happiest country. He emphasized that true happiness is built on inner peace and genuine human connection. “Instead of preparing to be happy, be happy now,” he urged.

Gurudev also addressed the nation’s mental health challenges. He expressed concern over rising loneliness in the post-COVID era, stressing the need for collective action to rebuild human connection. He suggested simple solutions like: daily meditation, reduced screen time, deep breathing practices like Sudarshan Kriya, and community involvement—all steps that prioritize inner well-being over fleeting distractions.

He also highlighted the importance of wellness in education, calling for programs in schools and universities to nurture young minds.
