Global Institute of Stem Cell Research & Treatment (GIOSTAR, USA) based in San Diego, California is the world’s largest and leading (privately owned) Stem cell research institute involved with stem cell research and treatment work for the last 20+ years in the USA and around the world. Its vision is to provide stem cell based treatment to aid those who are suffering from degenerative or genetic diseases around the world.
Gurudev applauded the inception of the facility. He said, “Ancient scriptures regard a doctor as Narayana. Here, Narayana is also playing the role of Brahma. It is such a joy to see stem cell technology has come to India. Updating our knowledge should be a continuous process.”
In 2011, Gurudev inaugurated the world’s first dedicated stem cell research and treatment hospital in Ahmedabad, Gujarat setup by GIOSTAR. The institute has also been working on developing the world’s largest bone marrow and stem cell transplant hospital for the underprivileged suffering from sickle cell anemia. It is also working with Benaras Hindu University to help establish their stem cell research and bone marrow transplant facility.
