The vibrant people of Atlanta embraced Gurudev’s #IStandForPeace call, which has rekindled hope in the hearts of millions across continents.

Gurudev has been on the move since the stringent laws around the coronavirus pandemic were relaxed. The world has been filled with darkness and despair post-pandemic, and Gurudev’s #IStandForPeace campaign has united people of different backgrounds.
Taking the message of peace, Gurudev reached the city of Atlanta in the United States at the beginning of the month. The vibrant people of Atlanta embraced Gurudev’s #IStandForPeace call, which has rekindled hope in the hearts of millions across continents.
In a tweet, Gurudev shared that the visit to Atlanta is almost after a decade, “Reminded the gathering that #peace begins from within & each one of us has the power to unite society when we stand up for peace,” the tweet read.
Gurudev has been in a series of conversations, including keynote addresses, discussing topics such as peace, social justice, the environment, mental health and wellness, meditation, and the power of breathing using the Sudarshan Kriya technique.

From students to politicians, religious leaders, activists, and changemakers, everybody agreed in unison to stand for peace. Gurudev’s Atlanta visit is a shot in the arm to the global #IStandForPeace campaign.
Gurudev’s inspiring ideas, approach toward humanity and relentless work to bring peace to every heart received recognition as Gurudev was honored with the Gandhi Peace Pilgrim Award at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Center.
Gurudev’s portrait has also been added to the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Chapel’s Hall of Fame.
