On October 26, 2024, Fijian President Wiliame Katonivere bestowed upon Sri Sri Ravi Shankar the ‘Honourary Officer of the Order of Fiji,’ the nation’s highest civilian honor. This recognition celebrates Gurudev’s outstanding contributions to unity and healing across societies.
On his four-day official visit to Mauritius after 18 long years, Gurudev received a grand welcome from all sections of the society, as his message for creating a happier, healthier and peaceful Mauritius resonated with everyone right from the diaspora, elected representatives, to youth, women and community leaders.
A bilateral meeting took place in Reykjavík where Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and Iceland’s Prime Minister Bjarni Benediktsso discussed the importance of mental health as the basis for individual and societal welfare.
