Over 75,000 young people filled Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium for what became the world’s largest bhajan clubbing event — a vibrant, substance-free evening of music, movement, and collective joy with Gurudev.
Roots Old, Leaves Fresh
Gurudev’s address to Delhi’s Gen Z carried a message as timeless as it is urgent: “Life, like a tree, needs both roots that are old, and leaves that are fresh” — a call to carry tradition and modernity forward, together.
Ancient Wisdom, Measured by Science
In a first of its kind, AIIMS, ICMR, and Max Hospital conducted live scientific studies alongside the ancient Durga homa at Dhyan Chand Stadium. They tracked physiological and environmental changes to generate empirical data on the impact of ancient practices.
The Event
On the evenings of March 21 and 22, 2026, New Delhi became a global centre of culture, science, and human connection. Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium hosted the world’s largest bhajan clubbing event, drawing 75,000 young people into an evening of celebration, connection, and renewal. The weekend continues a tradition of large-scale celebrations for the revival of culture that Gurudev has pioneered across India, the United States, and Europe. His World Culture Festival series has attracted together more than 7 million attendees in a shared experience of joy and inner transformation.

- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta attended Sunday’s event as Chief Guest, calling Gurudev’s presence a source of renewed vibrance for the entire city
- Scientific research conducted live alongside the Durga Homa in collaboration with AIIMS and ICMR — measuring heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, oxygen levels, and environmental changes before and after the ritual
- The Bhajan Clubbing event, organised by Safe Shop, was designed as a substance-free space for Delhi’s Gen Z to promote social connection and emotional renewal through music
- Sri Sri University signed an MOU with Safe Shop launching the Leadership Excellence Associate Program, blending professional development with pranayama and Sudarshan Kriya
