Timeless Teachings | Gurudev on Instagram

When I conducted the first International Yoga Day in United Nations, Mr. Ban Ki Moon was the Secretary General. He said we need this meditation before every negotiation. That can keep everyone focused and relaxed. I said, “I can’t agree more.”

Conflicts arise in the heads of people. It is a perceived threat from the other, which makes one aggressive. When aggression is slowed down, anger is eliminated, understanding is brought between people, then solutions are just around the corner. It is the human interaction that needs to be smoothened and communication needs to be improved. That is where meditation will be of great help.
