With hospitals in India being overrun, reports say that the impact is greater than what has been reported by any single country since the onset of Covid-19. The country of 1.3 billion is now the global epicenter of the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>To mitigate the shortage of oxygen and essential supplies, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iahv.org\/in-en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">International Association for Human Values (IAHV)<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.artofliving.org\/in-en\/projects\/corona-relief-work\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">The Art of Living<\/a> have started an initiative of supplying oxygen concentrators, critical medical equipment to hospitals and people across India. In addition to working directly with the people in need, our teams are working with local governments to identify the requirements and are sourcing and distributing them to government authorities.<\/p>\n<p>So far the teams and volunteers have organised:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"stat\"><span class=\"n\">5,677<\/span> <span class=\"t\">Oxygen Concentrators<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"stat\"><span class=\"n\">25,000<\/span> <span class=\"t\">Oximeters<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"stat\"><span class=\"n\">2<\/span> <span class=\"t\">million N95 Masks<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"stat\"><span class=\"n\">100<\/span> <span class=\"t\">Ventilators<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"stat\"><span class=\"n\">400<\/span> <span class=\"t\">Oxygen Cylinders<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"stat\"><span class=\"n\">2<\/span> <span class=\"t\">Cardiac Care Ambulances<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"stat\"><span class=\"n\">100,000<\/span> <span class=\"t\">PPE Kits<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"stat\"><span class=\"n\">5,604<\/span> <span class=\"t\">Doctors on call<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"stat\"><span class=\"n\">6<\/span> <span class=\"t\">Covid Care Centers (in Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad and Delhi)<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"stat\"><span class=\"n\">80 million<\/span> <span class=\"t\">ration kits\/meals distributed<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A lot more remains to be done.
