In keeping with Art of Living\u2019s focus on arts as a unifying cultural vehicle, Taal Ninaad recorded participation by 1548 percussionists (1230 tablas and 318 pakhawaj).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the event, which won a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for most hand drum players together on one stage, audience members pledged to work toward freeing their communities from alcohol and violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, Gurudev<\/a> urged the gathering to discard discrimination based on caste and creed, and to commit to the advancement of human values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
